Demotivational Poster: San Francisco
Happy Meal ban passed: San Francisco says no to toys
San Francisco, the city infamous for pot-smoking hippies, has recently banned McDonalds and other fast food places from selling Happy Meals. Okay, to be fair, it only banned them from giving away toys (you know, the best part!) with their meals unless they also included fruits and veggies.
Don’t get me wrong. I think there are healthier options to feed your kids other than a cheeseburger Happy Meal with fries and drink (accumulating over 600 calories), and there are better things to do with your time than smoking pot. But my opinions on health shouldn’t dictate law. People have an unalienable right to put anything they want into their bodies, be it marijuana or happy meals (or both), and we shouldn’t have a nanny state telling us otherwise.
