NDAA Proves Obama Worse Than Bush

The National Defense Authorization Act, which allows military personnel to detain anyone (even American citizens) indefinitely without charge or trial, passed the Senate 93-7, the House 283-136, and the Senate again 86-13. As for Obama, who promised to veto the bill, he has agreed to sign it.

Say what you want about Dubya: he may have passed the Patriot Act, which allows for warrantless wiretaps and record searches, but not only has Obama renewed the Patriot Acttwice, but he has also allowed for the assassination of an American citizen outside of a battlefield. Add the signing of this bill, which allows for the indefinite detention of American citizens, and you have a president who is officially WORSE on civil liberties than Bush.

So the question remains, why bother re-electing this man?

Even libtarded internet pundit Cenk Ugyur of The Young Turks is expressing his doubts:

I almost don't see the point in supporting Obama anymore. I'm not mincing words. I don't see the point....This so called Constitutional law professor has such little respect for our Constitution that he's willing to shred it like that, well, he's in some ways worse than a Republican. Why?

Now first of all, I think Newt Gingrich is a danger to the republic, right? But, is Newt Gingrich going to propose something worse than indefinitely detaining American citizens without a trial? I'm not sure I can think of anything worse!
The answer seems pretty obvious. Obama doesn’t care, and most of the Republican candidates (save Ron Paul) doesn’t care. There is only but one rational choice for president—the very candidate who has been consistently opposed to any trading of our liberties for security in the name of the War on Terror: Ron Paul!
