Rank Your 3rd Party Candidate
The first third party presidential debate is over, and in my opinion, it had more substance than the past three “official” presidential debates combined. Needless to say, I loved it! (If you wish to see my thoughts on it, be sure to check out my Twitter feed!)
The next debate will be held October 30 at 9 p.m. Which candidates will be attending? Well, that’s for you to decide.
Visit the Free And Equal Foundation website and vote for your favorite third party candidate. The two candidates with the most votes will move on to the next debate.
The special thing about this poll is that it utilizes instant runoff voting. It’s a bit complicated, but according to the site, the voting method "allows voters to submit their top two choices, so they aren’t 'throwing away' a vote."
This is the same voting method that is utilized for the Academy Awards. If it’s good enough to chose the Oscar, than it’s damn good to choose our next president. This is how elections ought to be run!
Voting for the next debate will end within the next 24 hours, so vote now!
For those who missed the debate, you can watch the full video on Russia Today.
For more information on the candidates and their respective parties, be sure to check out their main websites: Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party, Jill Stein of the Green Party, Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party, and Rocky Anderson of the Justice Party.
Also, please visit Jill Stein's website and sign her petition demanding all presidential candidates be allowed to participate in national debates. The future of free and equal elections depends upon it.
