I'm sure most of you already know about the Connecticut school shooting earlier today where 26 people were killed, 20 which were children.
But you probably haven't heard about the school massacre in China (which strictly restricts private gun ownership) where a knife-wielding maniac slashed 23 people.
So yeah, if someone you know tries to use the recent shooting as an argument for stricter gun control, feel free to mention the China massacre as a counterargument.
Oh, and it also helps mentioning that Connecticut has the toughest gun laws in the nation. Funny how strict gun laws have zero effect on violent crime.
To quote Penn Jillette: "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's insane!"
