Drone Strikes: No Evidence? No Problem!

A leaked Justice Department memo reveals that American citizens can be legally targeted for drone strikes if they pose an "'imminent' threat of violent attack against the United States"--and by "imminent threat" they mean no "clear evidence" of one whatsoever.

So all Obama needs to do to have an American citizen blown to smithereens with an unmanned drone is to point at him and say "That guy looks like a scary terrorist!" No evidence. No due process. No mercy!

It's becoming more apparent everyday that our government is at war with its own citizens. It has the power to wiretap, indefinitely detain, and even kill them without any checks and balances. And yet when the citizenry arms itself with "assault weapons," we're considered the crazy ones.

At this point, Obama is not the same as Bush. He's worse. Far worse!

And the worst part is that so many libtards who would have protested this breach of federal power under Bush remain silent under Obama. It's a well-documented fact that the anti-war protests that flourished during the Bush administration came to a screeching halt once Obama entered office, even though Obama has done little to curb Bush's self-destructive foreign and domestic policies.

Thankfully, we still have consistent men of principle like Jon Stewart to speak out against these abuses of power regardless of who is seated in the White House.
