LAPD Shoot Unarmed Homeless Man Dead

LAPD officers shot an unarmed homeless man, who died shortly after the attack, earlier this week. Officers claim that he reached for one of their guns. This video, which was taken on the scene and posted to Facebook (before being taken down), shows otherwise:

Words fail me at this point. What can I possibly say about this attack that hasn’t already been said about similar acts of police brutality? What can I say about this man that hasn’t already been said about other police brutality victims such as Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Tamir Rice? How sad is it that these attacks are so commonplace in our society that anything and everything that can be said about them has already been said?

At this point, if you think what these police officers did was justified, and that they had every right to shoot an unarmed homeless man, then you have not heart; and if you think these police officers are only a few “bad apples”, then you have no eyes, because acts like this are happening all the time, and they are hardly "isolated incidents."

When will this madness stop?!
