Nightly Frights: Gahan Wilson's Diner
If you ever find yourself driving down the highway alone late at night and starting to feel hungry, whatever you do, don’t stop by the lone diner on the side of the road. Just don’t do it! It’s not because the food they serve there is bad. It’s just what—or rather, who—the food is made out of, and if you’re not careful, you might find yourself as the daily special!
This animation was created by cartoonist Gahan Wilson. His cartoons have appeared in The New Yorker, along with several horror and sci-fi magazines and comic books. As you can tell, his art has a morbidly grotesque feel to it, to the point where it will not only turn your stomach inside out, but it even appears as if it's what you get if you turned your own stomach inside out—or at least dropped enough acid!
