Top 10 Dumbest Things Said By Melissa Harris-Perry

Melissa Harris-Perry--the woman who proved, along with Mehmet Oz and Andrew Wakefield, that you can have a PhD and still not know what the f*** you're talking about--recently quit the Marxists Spewing Nothing But Crap (MSNBC) "news" network. And nothing of value was lost. (Then again, MSDNC had not value to begin with, so that's essentially subtracting by zero!)

If there was anything of value that this talking bobble head provided, it was unintentional comedy--albeit the same type of comedy that you would find in an Adam Sandler movie, and not any of the good ones, either of them!

So to "celebrate" her departure, allow me to list the top ten dumbest things she has ever said. Why top ten? Because I like to go one step beyond those who dare to be stupid!

#10: Communist Cuba will suffer from "a plague" of American tourists.
"On the one hand, it is great to reopen these relationships. On the other hand, I worry about American tourists and the ways that we can sometimes be a plague on the rest of the world."
A surge of American tourists traveling to a once-prohibited tropical island nation in order to spend their money, which will inevitably stimulate that country's economy? Clearly just as worse as the bubonic plague!

#9: We have to break through this idea "that kids belong to their parents"
"We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”
"We are the state. Lower your shields and surrender your children. They belong to us now. We will add their biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your children will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."

#8: Chastises NSA Edward Snowden for making "a spectacle of himself."
"We could be talking about whether accessing and monitoring citizen information and communications is constitutional, or whether we should continue to allow a secret court to authorize secret warrants using secret legal opinions. But we’re not. We’re talking about you! And flight paths between Moscow and Venezuela, and how much of a jerk Glenn Greenwald is. We could at least be talking about whether the Obama administration is right that your leak jeopardized national security. But we’re not talking about that, Ed."
Accuses Snowden of allowing media to report on him and not the revelations he provided. Uses air time to talk about him when she could be using that air time to talk about the revelations he provided. Truly, the irony is lost on her!

#7: Detroit is what happens when government is "small enough to drown’ in tub.
“[Detroit's] lack of tax base is also exactly the thing that many Republicans would impose on us even when our cities have sufficient populations, even when our communities have sufficient populations...This is what it looks like when government is small enough to drown if your bathtub and it is not a pretty picture."
Let's just go ahead and ignore the 50 long years the city has been run solely by Democrats, shall we?

#6: Socialism never took hold in USA because of "racism."
"[S]ocialism has been challenged and difficult particularly in modern times because...we have had a politics that makes those public investments giveaways to black people."
Or it could be that we Americans have had the luxury of seeing how socialism has failed in other countries from afar. That way we know not to put out hands on the stove because we saw some other dumb kid burn their hands on it.

#5: Suggests "ObamaCare" is the new N-word
And he embraced the word and made it his own, sending his opposition a message they weren’t expecting. If that’s what you want me to be, I’ll be that. Y’all know the word that I’m talking about: ObamaCare.”
At this point, isn't everything the N-word to feminist SJWs?

#4: Arson and looting in Ferguson are "not necessarily violence."
“[A]rson and looting, while illegal...are also not necessarily violence in that they are they are violence against property."
Trying saying that after I total your car with a baseball bat.

#3: Star Wars is "racist" Because Darth Vader is a "black guy."
“The part where he was totally a black guy, whose name was basically James Earl Jones. While he was black he was terrible and bad, awful and used to cut off white men’s hand, and didn’t actually claim his son. But as soon as he claims his son, goes over to the good, takes off his mask and he is white — yes, I have many feelings about that.”
Not a Star Wars fan, are you?

#2: Don’t say "hard worker" because it’s offensive to slaves.
"I want us to be super careful when we use the language ‘hard worker.’ Because I actually keep an image of folks working in cotton fields on my office wall, because it is a reminder about what hard work looks like.”
Not every "hard worker" was a slave, and not every slave was a "hard worker." Logic, mother f***er, do you use it?!?!

#1: Asks Eric Holder to "Quack" like a duck.
“We call you the duck...we say you have a very sort of placid and even way of presenting, but you are just working for justice underneath. Would you quack for us?”
I have no comment. Words simply fail me!
