Nightly Frights: Molly The Dolly

You know, the more that I think about it, dolls are the creepiest toys ever. Small humanoid figures with blank unblinking eyes and obviously fake grins? Thanks, but no thanks. Those are the products of nightmares!

So it’s no wonder that so many scary stories, especially creepypasta, are about living dolls. Take tonight’s tale about "Molly the Dolly". It’s a story that will make you think twice about buying a doll for a little girl’s birthday. It may be the last one you give her.

A 12-year-old girl named Alicia, her little 10-year-old sister Abby, and her mother had just moved into a new house. It was new, big, and just what they had been wanting. They just needed to go to get some basic things, like, you know, soap, spoons, towels, that sort of thing.

While they were at the store, Alicia's mother spotted something in the bin of random stuff on sale. There was a doll that said "Molly the Dolly" on the tag. To the mother, the doll was beautiful. To Alicia, it was creepy, in a way that she couldn't describe. To her little sister, it was funny.

The doll, "Molly" had 2 black eyes, staring out at nothing, and a pink-ish orange-ish dress that was ripped at the sleeves and neckline...It just didn't look natural for a doll.

When they got home, the mother put the doll on the mantel place.

That night, Alicia heard some childish laughing and singing. Then she heard in a little girl voice: "Molly's jumping off the mantel place, and Molly's gonna kill you!"
